Nice to meet you! I am a passionate Senior User Experience Designer currently at Daxko. Previously I led UX Design and Research at Backcountry.com and lead design for new products at OfficeSpace Software. I love UX because it puts you at the crossroads of empathy and problem solving. I love digging in to find core user needs to crafting delightful design solutions.
At Daxko I am the lead designer for our Boutique Market with a focus Martial Arts Studio specific features. Daxko is a leader in the Fitness SaaS with a mission to empower fitness entrepreneurs by delivering seamless member experiences. I also co-lead Design Ops and manage our in house Dreamcoat Design System.
At OfficeSpace Software I led design for new products including visitor and asset management platform features and contributing to our mission in building a best-in-class operating system for the built world.
At Backcountry I worked on projects that transform the customer experience and how we manage and maintain the backend systems to support them. I’m passionate about creating delightful, accessible, and informative experiences across the Backcountry family of sites so our users can get back to getting after it in the outdoors. I led our UX design team, contributed to objectives with the product team, managed and maintained our design system, led research operations, and mentored our UX designers.
Before transitioning to UX, I graduated with a bachelor of science in Journalism, emphasis in visual communication. I took a semester abroad outside of Nairobi, Kenya to study digital anthropology.
In my downtime you can catch me hiking with my dog, tending to my garden, reading a book, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, biking in the summer, and romping through the Utah desert between seasons.
